My formatted HD wont show up in Windows

I Just installed Windows Server 2003 in one of my older computers, The HD is already formatted. I have much of my data saved there. The drive does show up in the Device Manager. However I cant get the drive to appear in "My Computer" so I cant access any of the data.

Anyone know how I can get this drive to show up? Any help is appreciated,

Right click on "my computer" and go into "manage" (I think that is what it is called, I have a Japanese OS).

Then find the option for disk management. Does it show up in there? You probably just need to assign it a drive letter. Give it a shot.

Oops. Just saw you are windows 2003.... hold on. OK, same thing it seems.
