  1. I noticed recently that the fonts on webpages have grown large and all the default fonts have changed to the same over-sized fonts. So I ran AVG anti-virus and found a few virus and healed/deleted them. Then ran another test and it ran clean. After that I ran AdAware SE found a few bad things and cleaned those out. THEN I ran another virus check, it came out clean and did anotherAVG scan. So far everything is clean but the large FONTS is still found every where. I deleted all my cookies and objects and still these annoying large fonts are everywhere to be found online.

    Here's my log file.

In both IE and Firefox, at the top left, click on View/Text Size and adjust to what you like.

    Move Hijackthis to a proper directory, e.g. C:\Program Files\HJT
    C:\Documents and Settings\Aurora\Desktop\HijackThis.exe

    Boot in Safe Mode.
Switch System restore OFF, see how here.
In Windows Explorer, turn on "show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.
Press Ctrl/Alt/Del simultaneously, select Taskmanager/Processes, select the process (if there), click "End Process" for:

    winupdate.exe

Next, try to UNinstall anything to do with (not delete yet!):
    C:\Program Files\winupdate\winupdate.exe

Next, run a HJT scan and place a tick-mark in the little square before (if still there):
    ...................................................................................................
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winupdate] C:\Program Files\winupdate\winupdate.exe /auto
    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://ny.contentmatch.net (HKLM)
    O16 - DPF: {D3E33EA6-92BF-444E-9DF3-E7F879F2006F} (TSRFileManagerXControl Control) - http://www.thesimsresource.com/TSRInstallationWizard.cab

    ...................................................................................................
Now click on the Fix Checked button in HJT.

When done, from between the above dotted lines, delete the highlighted bold files. (none for you today)
When a \directory-name\ is bold, delete everything in it, including that directory itself.
Delete all files and directories from: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Temp
    Repeat this for ALL [usernames].
Delete all files and directories from: C:\WINDOWS\Temp (except files dated from TODAY).
Boot normal. When all OK, switch System Restore back on.
