    Hey, i have recently had the "w32/Sdbot.worm.gen.h" and other small adware like "Media Access" I am new to this forum and it seems like a friendly place, I would appreciate it if someone could look at my log attached and see if anything is still wrong?

    UNinstall anything to do with:
    C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus\MsgPlus.exe

    When done, delete the Messenger Plus directory, with everything in it.
    Otherwise your log looks fine.

    Thanks, also..

    when i go to Start >> Run >> regedit
    it comes up with the prompt:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32/regedit.com
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose ‘Close’ to terminate the application.

    i know you can get into the registry editor by typing "regedit.exe" but i'm guessing a worm has left this affect? could anyone help?

    Do an advanced 'Search' for 'autoexec.nt' in the forum-group 'OA & Software'.
