Hello, I'm at step 12 of the Viruses/Spyware/Malware preliminary removal instructions. It says to post my Hijack this and combofix logs, so here they are.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Startup program associated with WinAntiVirus Pro 2007. WinAntiVirus Pro 2007 is a rogue anti-spyware program that displays fake alerts, and downloads other programs onto user's machine without permission.

Hi jas_exile and welcome to techspot. =)

tomrca is absolutely right about WinAntiVirus Pro. It is definitely nasty, see HERE.

You have not posted another requested log file: AVG Antispyware. Please do so in your next reply. Please also furnish us with the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

That said, please do the following.
Please follow these instructions carefully.

1. Download The Avenger by Swandog46 from HERE. Save it to your Desktop and extract it.

2. Download the attached "avengerscript.txt" (from my attachment) and save it to your desktop

Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system.

3. You may wish to copy and paste these instructions on notepad for easier reference later.

Boot into safe mode under your normal user name. See how HERE

Next turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE

Go to start > run and type services.msc. Press the enter key.
Search for the following services. Double click to select stop if they are running. Set the startup type to disabled. Click apply/ok for each service you disable.

Salestart
WinAntiVirus Pro 2007

Go to start > Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs.
Remove anything related to the following:

WinAntiVirus Pro 2007

Open your task manager by pressing holding ctrl, alt and pressing del. Alternatively, use ctrl + shift + esc. Go to the processes tab, and end the following processes, if found:

mav_startupmon.exe

After that, run HijackThis and fix the following entries, if found (do this by placing a tick in the check boxes beside these entries and clicking "Fix checked"):

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {92A444D2-F945-4dd9-89A1-896A6C2D8D22} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsxpekwr.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Salestart] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinAntiVirus Pro 2007\mav_startupmon.exe"

Close HJT.

4. Now, start The Avenger program by double clicking on its icon on your desktop.

Under "Script file to execute" choose "Load script from file".
Now click on the folder icon which will open a new window titled "open Script File"
navigate to the attachment avengerscript.txt you have just downloaded, click on it and press open.
Now click on the Green Light to begin execution of the script
Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.

5. The Avenger will automatically do the following:

It will Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Unload", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.

6. Please attach the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply, as well as a fresh HJT, ComboFix and AVG Antispyware log.

Reboot into normal mode and rehide your protected OS files.

Regards,
Your friendly momok =)

Hello, Thanks for the quick replies. About the WinAntiVirus Pro 2007, I've been trying to remove this from my system, but have not succeded. Anyhow, here are my new logs. Thanks again for the help.

Hi,

I noticed that your AVG log displays 'No Action Taken' for all the files detected.
I suggest you run AVG again and quarantine the files. Pictorial instructions HERE.

Do you recognise this folder?
C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\SalesMonitor
If you do not, please delete it.

Have HijackThis fix the following entry:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = :0

Download the attached "Combofix-Do.txt" (from my attachment) and save it to the same folder as Combofix.
Drag the Combofix-Do.txt over on to Combofix.exe and release.

This will ask Combofix to execute the instructions within my file. Let Combofix run normally and do its job.

Thereafter, please post fresh HJT, ComboFix and AVG Antispyware logs from normal mode as attachments into this thread.

Regards,
Your friendly momok =)
