My LG DVD-ROM can't read

Hi guys i have lg dvd room which stopped working.
it can read dvd discs but cant read cds
well i took out it and cleaned lasser
when i put cd it worked fine but when i did second time
was same proble.
i cleaned it second time and same things happened ...
can anyone help me ?

if it is old ( 3 years or more ) then you need to buy a new one

Yes replace it, they are not expensive now. Under $20 here in the USA

If your old one had been functioning for 6 years consider yourself fortunate. The average is 2 to 5 years.
