My Regedit "Yells" at me

  1. okay im not that old but im haveing a small problem my brother got my ff8 downloaded by torrent and i read throu the way to get it to work with no cd's and it tells me to use regedit well when i type regedit in start/run it says its not a valid win32 application and when i go to C:\Windows and click regedit it says another progam is useing this i have a burned copy of windows xp if that helps thxs
    Any Ideas?

    Not a really good thing to be talking about here they have a very strict policy about talking about piracy on these boards.

    o well the only reason i did that is cause my brother broke my first ff8 cd and lost my install and 3rd disc and i cant find anymore ff8's in my area sry

    There can be other ways of getting replacement CD's with out going to a sight and downloading illegal copies like that.

    uhh whats microsoft's phone number then cause its the regedit im having problems with or where can i find it?
