Hey, I'm new to techspot so i don't known if this is the write spot to ask but I'll try

I plug my laptop into my TV and it does all of the flashing stuff trying to connect but then it says "Over Range". This doesn't happen to my Dad or Cousin. Also if i plug the cord in then Hibernate my Laptop while it restarts it appears on the TV then it goes again. When i try Function F5 it goes to Over Range. Any help would be much appreciated.
