Mybook Reboot Error

Hi guys,

I just reformatted and reloaded my PC running Windows XP MCE 2005.
I am able to connect to my Mybook World Edition drive. However, there appears to be no option to reconnect at logon. The checkbox is gone. I am forced to logon the next time I turn on my PC. I rebooted the MBWE thinking it was pulling one of it's tricks. No luck. I created a new user and got the same results.
What's going on? All the other computers on my network still connect as before.

Have you updated all your Manufacture drivers to current release?

No luck

I did update all the drivers. I even loaded the dreaded mionet. When I tried to direct map the Public share I get the same problem. I've uninstalled mionet, again.

Try cleaning up a few things:

Run CCleaner
Run Malarebytes (AntiMalware Program)
Actually better yet, try the New Preliminary Removal Instructions
Turn off your Firewall or any other live protection (Temporarily)
Reset your Network (actuall exactly how is it connected? USB?)
Here's the Network Reset anyway
Check all Windows Security Updates are complete
Check the drive with CheckDisk Xp or Vista
Check Device Manager (Start->Run-> Devmgmt.msc)
