Nec nd2510a DLayer drive

I have a nec dual layer drive and I'm tring to copy from a DVD copy to the dual layer drive with roxio. I can load everything and hit burn, but within 3-4 seconds the dual layer disk kicks out and says copy successfully copied. nothing has happened. Can you help me.
