Need a BIOS File

  1. If anyone has a Phoenix BIOS 4.0 Release 6.0 please send it to me. It would most likely be found on an HP Desktop computer.
Mine is an HP7935 (around 3yo). All you have to do is make a copy of it and send it.

    my email is friend2u@yifan.net

    -Thanks

PS..It appears Phoenix now has put out the 4.0 Rel 6.1 which supports USB 2.0 and probably other features so I'm not sure if that Rel. would work on mine but if anyone has a clue please post.

The BIOS one should apply is much more than just the company that happened to make it. BIOS is always heavily customised for a specific motherboard and you should never apply anything other than the BIOS supplied by the mobo/system maker.

Go to HP website to see if there is a newer BIOS availabkle for your system.

    Been there done that

HP7935's used the ASUS motherboard, HP does not have an urgrade for my BIOS on their site. I emailed their customer support and they never replied back. AS long as i get the
correct release (6.0) I am ok.
