I have just bought a new keyboard (Saitek Eclipse), and very nice it is too, but I cannot get it to work, since Device Manager tells me I need a copy of kbdhid.sys. I know this can be found on XP SP2, but I don't have a hard copy of this, since I downloaded SP2 from Windows Update, originally.

Does anyone know where I can download a copy of this file for free, please?

Any help most gratefully received, coz I am sitting here looking at noo keyboard and I can't damned well use it!!

    Many thanks!

    Jo

Do you still have the SP2 install file that you downloaded?
You can extract all of the files in the service pack using something like WinRAR.
