I need advice on the best data recovery software available.

it depends on whether you're talking about recovering deleted files or recovering corrupted files

for deleted files then there's a program called undelete (i always though it had a cool name ) but i'm not sure about for corrupted files

Its for both actually.

i will give undelete a try. But if there is software for currupt files that would be great as well.
