Need Drivers!!

  1. I recently fixed my friends computer from scratch (it was the only way). all thats on here is windows xp. i was wondering if anyone could let me know of a program that could tell us what the computer stats are for this pc. its pretty old and do not know his mobo. we need the drivers so his video will be better. please help thanks

    Either the free Everest or SIW programmes may help you identify your friends hardware.

    You really should have.
    But if it's a video card you can try to read it's name and model.
    If it's internal you need the motherboard make and model.
    Get AIDA32 to ID your hardware.A google should find it.

    P.S.
    Are you sure it's up to snuff for XP ?
    It usually detects hardware and compents very well.
    try Sysdm/Hardware for what it describes.
