[Need Help] Installing Windows

Hello my parents brought me a amd3800+ duel core for christmass and they said i could have it after my exams so i was realy happy then i got it ive been trying to install windows on it but it says on 0%(non quick) or 20% (quick format)

The Hd i am using is 250gig SATA Seagate hd 7200rpm

i am currently at the sceen that has this infomation on it

The following list shows the existing partitions and unpartitioned space on this computer.

Use the Up and Down arrow keys to select an item in the list

To set up windows xp on the selected item, press ENTER.

To Create a Partition in the unpartition space, press C

To Delete the selected partition, press D

so i make the c drive like this

when i click enter I go to Format the partition using the NTFS File system and it will just hang at 0%

any reasons why this is happening?

When the load procedure started did you see the bit that says press F and a number to load 3rd party drivers such as Sata or Raid.
