Hmm... Not sure about the Biostar mobo. I've never had any experience with them personally, but I have only heard so so reviews and comments about them. You can certainly give it a shot and if there is something wrong with the board you can always RMA it for a new one.

Okay, one last and final question. Do you think the prices of these parts will go up or down over time if I wait a few months? I've noticed that already some of the parts have jumped up a few $ in price, hence the reason I'm asking.

The only reason they went up is most likely because they were preciously on sale. The prices almost always decrease over time in the short term, and will decrease 100% guaranteed in the long term.

BioStar does not create good motherboards, and neither does ECS. I've seen quite a lot of them fail. I'd recommend avoiding them. This mobo along with this CPU will get you a better quality build for about $10 more than that combo deal.
