Need help on good system going quite slow

Ok hi my name is Kyle and I have had my PC for a few years but it has recently gone really slow and has been locking up quite a bit I have done virus scans I have found nothing and I have defragged my hard drives as well as use Ccleaner to help clean some junk up and I have cleaned out my hardware of dust etc with no luck I am quite techy but If you guys can help that would be grateful I don't know what you want me to post so just ask and I will try and get the information that you need
My computer spec:
4GB DDR2 Ram
Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHZ CPU
500GB HDD
build in GFX
4.9 windows 7 score of my pc :/

We have found that the issue you describe can often be attributed to infection. We know you have already done a virus scan but the infection could be very deep and a regular scan will not detect/fix it.

So our best advice at this point is for you to go to our Virus & Malware Removal forum and read and follow the UPDATED 7 Steps sticky.

Then on that forum, after you have done all the steps, post the results with the required information pasted into your post. You'll receive excellent help.
