  1. hey guys,

i posted a threat two weeks ago (Windows cannot find "null" on IE6) and i went and follow the instruccions on to to romove malware and viruses, and i posted the results but i have gotten no replies so i was wondering if anyone could help me determine what's wrong with this pc acoording to the logs.

i would appreciate your help as i'm desperate with this situation.

    thanks in advanced.

ps. as i said these logs were posted originally on the initlial thread but i had to remove them in order to attach them here.

This entry needs to be fixed.

    O3 - Toolbar: Nick Aracde Toolbar - {4E7BD74F-2B8D-469E-9EB4-FE6FA694B13E} - C:\PROGRA~1\NICKAR~1\NICKAR~2.DLL (file missing)

Put a tick next to it in HJT then click the fix checked button.

The only other thing i can see is that you appear to be running 2 antivirus programs. I suggest you uninstall the symantec rubbish and use AVGantivirus.

Let me know if that helps or if you have anymore problems.

When posing a question, it is helpful to known::

    1. your system specs
    2. what 'symptoms' are you having.
    3. if you're getting an error message, what are you doing at the time?
