Hi 2 all,
How are you ?

I got a small problem!

How to fix this monitor problem or XP problem !

The image tells me nothing. Use words to make the inquiry, or describe what you think the problem may be.

Sounds to me like you have a trinitron tube - if so you're not going to get rid of those lines. They're there by design.

I think I worked it out !

If you are talking about those faint blue lines uder the title (ie under Hard Disk Drives)

Then you can remove those by:

Opening My Computer
Click on View (on the toolbar, up the top)
Click on "Arrange icons by"
And then click on the (ticked) "Show in groups"

These lines will then vanish

If this is the case, it was very hard to work out what you meant, by saying between these two lines (as between those two penciled lines, was stacks of things)

PLEASE reply back, because I'd like to know if this mind teaser has been solved.

Well this problem is showing on my monitor :(....There is 2 tiny line at top and bottom !

The line is look like:

_________________________________________________________________

DESKTOP

_________________________________________________________________

We are still trying to work out what you mean.
Please look at both your pics above, and notice that both pics do NOT show tiny lines. (well I can't see them, I even maximized the percentage to 300%)

But, I might re-word your original question.
How to fix this monitor problem or XP problem !

New question wording:

I have two tiny horizontal lines on my screen
One near the top of the screen
One near the bottom of the screen
This is happening in any folder (I threw this one in)

Answer:
This sounds like burn-in marks
Usually caused by a program (or picture) been left on, over extended time (such as Internet Explorer)

If you have a program that you would normally leave displaying, confirm that this may be the case, by opening it, and lineing up the tiny lines to displayed lines (like toolbars) in your program.
If they match up, that means these lines have been burned into your display.

The only option would be:
Hope to get anothe LCD screen under warranty
Or just replace the screen yourself.

To avoid these burn-in lines in future either:
Run a screen saver every 30 mins (or so)
Minimize the program or change Desktop pictures, frequently
Turn off the monitor more often

Please reply back, if you feel I've got it right. As the saga continues, and I am still most interested in if I have got it this time.
