Im running winxp. since my initail install of the os ive noticed that my desktop wasnt running as fast as it really should. I picked up uniblue's registry booster and speedupmypc and it worked like a charm. but a week or so later my pc will still run slow despite the fixes made by the uniblue software. was thinking that maybe I might just have an excessive amount of background programs running, but im not 100% on how to identify them. any ideas on how to maximize my pc's performance? as well as boot internet surfing speed?
