Need help with crappy HP software

  1. Hey, I really do not like HP stuff but I've got this new HP printer/scanner/copier/faxer and the software is screwing up, as expected. When I try to open this thing called "HP Photosmart Premier" Windows installer always pops up and says "Please wait while Windows configures PhotoGallery". It goes through this for a few seconds and then an error pops up. Here's what it says:
    "Microsoft .NET Framework
An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
and then when I click "Details" it has this long list of BS which I can send if you think it would help. After this the only wat to get out is by ending the task through task manager. This is a big hassle for a worthless program I know but I don't like not being able to conquer my computer's problems.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Download the latest version of the HP software and drivers from the HP website?
