Hi, I need some help interpreting the results from GMER. I was afraid I might have a rootkit so I ran TDSS Killer. It came up clean but I thought I would double check with GMER. I tried to run it but it came up with an error message saying "file:///C:/windows/system32/config/system: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." This happens both in Safe mode and normal mode. Furthermore, on one occasion when I tried to run it, I got a blue screen that said error IRQL not less or more. when I finally did manage to run GMER, it only showed the following: GMER 2.1.19163 - http://www.gmer.net Rootkit scan 2013-07-21 03:44:14 Windows 6.2.9200 x64 \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 -> \Device\00000034 WDC_WD5000LPVT-08G33T1 rev.02.01A02 465.76GB Running: 34pi7674.exe; Driver: C:\Users\NABEEL~1\AppData\Local\Temp\kxlorpow.sys ---- Disk sectors - GMER 2.1 ---- Disk \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 unknown MBR code ---- Threads - GMER 2.1 ---- Thread C:\windows\system32\csrss.exe [628:664] fffff960008405e8 Thread C:\windows\system32\mmc.exe [2940:5624] 000007fbe3b31b94 ---- EOF - GMER 2.1 ---- I don't understand why GMER won't work properly or why my computer has been acting strangely lately. For instance, the event viewer error log showed a ton of errors, whenever I am on the internet pages load slower, pictures and videos are especially slow in loading and are more pixelated when they do load. I know for sure that there was malware on the computer recently since my email was hacked and after I ran a Super Anti Spyware scan, it detected a trojan. However I don't know if all malware has been removed since my computer isn't running as well as it used to.
