O.K here is the deal.......i have a ipod 512mb shuffle ......it worked fine for a couple of months.....however one day like 8 months after purchase from the us....i tried inserting it and using it in another pc.....i got home the evening.......tried it in my pc and some messages come up like "please plug device into hi-speed usb 2.0 port" - it use to work in the same ports or sometimes another prompt comes up saying...."player recovery device class" or "STMP3550" on both instance begging to install.....however if i install this nothing happens and the next time i plug in the ipod again.....same thing happens like if it was never installed..........i've tried every possible restore with the ipod.....tried formatting no luck......any experts here.....i don't wanna trow it away its my dads.
