  1. Okay, I just wanted to see if any of the coders here can approve my server move before it do it ;) . Okay, I run my clans forum with mkportal and vBulletin 3.6.6, and I'm sick of the slowness and downtime of my current server (not to mention the lack of space, ~100Mb).

This is what I plan to do:
-Download entire forum through FTP Client
-Back up MySQL Database and upload to new server using phpMyAdmin
    -Creat forum backup
-Edit vB Core files to change Database name and password

What I will do after (not as important):
    -Reinstall Mkportal
    -Integrate into Mkportal

So, how does this sound, or is there anything else I will need to do?

Obviously in the wrong forum.. If you are registered user of vbulletin you should post the question on vbulletin.com

I've searched on vBulletin.com; I thought, since this is a tech forum that someone might know here.

Dont just search, try posting a message.. And since you had not got any replies on this site that might have been an indication that no one around here knew enough to answer your ?'s .. I've posted several questions on vbulletin's forum and they have always been helpful.. Remember it's their product, so who else would know better.
