Need Settings Instructions for RealTek AC97 Audio Configuration and AVRack

  1. dbarkley Newcomer, in training

    where can I find instructions in the use of the settings for AC97 Audio Configuration screens. What they mean and how/why I should set them.
    Also a guide to the buttons on the AVRack recording screens would be good.

    I am a complete novice at this using pc's and music together although I do know my way around computers and the internet. I have managed to get my tape cassette deck recording to the pc without any noises or problems using the AC97 but I am stumbling about a bit with the configuration settings.

    Is there somewhere I can see a tutorial ?. cannot find any readme or online information anywhere.

    I found the free download for the program, but it keeps timing out when I try to dl it. Any suggestions?
