Hi guys,

My wife's PC is crashing over and over. She gets a blue screen showing one of the following messages:

Page fault in a none paged area (sometimes)

Memory management problem

When the machine reboots, this is the info Windows offers:

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode 100007e (there may be 5 '0' here sorry)
BCP1 80000004
BCP2 81C7DF09
BCP3 A047FBF8
BCP4 A047F8F4
(sorry the 'F' may be lowercase)
OS Version 6_0_6000
Service Pack 0_0

There is also a warning box saying: WUDFHost. stopped working and was closed

I'm currently downloading service pack 1 onto my machine and then we will hopefully get to install it on my wife's machine before it crashes.

I apologise in advance if I don't seem too clear on the problem, but in all honesty I have no idea what all the above info means.

Could anyone help? I am desperate

We need your configuration to make much sense of it. You may not have enough memory for VISTA, but it is often a driver problem or an infestation, if you have enough memory.

"WUDFHost.exe" is a part of Windows Vista. Some VISTA drivers runs in user mode (such as USB driver) You may not have enough resources for VITA... or it could be an infestation.
You can learn a lot by reading the Wikipedia article. Search for WUDFHost.
WUDFHost.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32
WUDFHost can be a trojan, spyware, or virus
Download and run SuperAntiSpyware free version, and/or MBAM MalwareBytes, and run complete scans . You may have to come back to this forum for infestation repair help, so download and run HiJack This and send the log to this forum.
