I upgraded to Windows Vista and my *very* old version of Nero was incompatible, so I bought Nero 8 Ultra Edition (version 8.1.1.1) and since I've started using it, the performance for burning video dvds is sketchy at best. I started out with Memorex, but have also tried TDK. Sometimes it will burn 1 dvd but won't do anymore. I've had to have thrown out at least 15 ruined dvds. What can I do? Log below:

next time upload as a txt file or zip file
have you tried another burner soft there are free ones to test if it's nero ,your settings ,the burner or ??
I have to say I was very disappointed in nero 8
bloated adware tisk tisk
I have since gone back to 7.10.10
and it works with 64bit xp

did you try and start from a slower speed to burn with?

sometimes simple things are overlooked..

burn on slower speeds, close other softwares running on the background.
it might also help if you turn your Antivirus off while burning,

also, how old is your burner?

it could be faulty already.
