  1. Ok, i have a small home network. I want to know how to be able to send a text popup alter to all the computers on the network, without having to install anything. I know that if windows popup was on this computer, all i would have to do is send a message to all computers, and windows xp would popup a window with the message. But how do i do this with windows XP? Thanks :)

You can use the "net send" command to send messages in XP.

The syntax is "net send <computer> <message>" a la "net send \\pookie Hello world!"

There are pretty frontends for it too of course like the winpopup thing from Win9x, but net send is what comes with XP.
