Network connections problems

  1. I recently reformatted and replaced my graphics card. Now, there's no LAN option under the network connections.

When I moved in with my current roommate, he was running his computer off of a router with DSL. There was already a LAN option in the folder. I just had to change the settings, and was able to connect via his connection.

Now, however, I can't figure out how to set up the connection or make the icon available. any ideas?

Eh... What? You replaced your graphics card and now no LAN? Contact Microsoft.

Make sure you are using the most up to date drivers. Also i've heard never use the microsoft drivers with the regular drivers.
