Network Driver Choice, FE?

I am being overly cautious here, but better safe than sorry. After wasting my weekend trying to figure out why pics & vids weren't loading half of the time, I found someone who suggested it was the network driver. I'd updated everything else I could think of so might as well. Found my info: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. I am using Win7, and on this site I found Realtek PCIe FE GBE Fam Cont. Here's where the overly cautious comes in. Is there any difference with the FE in the name? Everything else matches up, and it really is the only one that seems a match except those 2 letters. Sorry for the seemingly stupid question, and I thank you for anyone willing to respond.

My opinion... being cautious is never stupid.

For drivers, I go to the manufacturer of the system if it is a manufactured system (Dell, HP, etc) - or if I built it, I go to the manufacturer of the motherboard (Asus, Foxconn, etc). When at their website, I go to support and look for downloads for drivers and use what they have tested. If I did not find what I needed, I would check Realtek (http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/)

However, this is a nasty world sometimes - so I would carefully scan my system for malware - using my resident anti-virus and Malwarebytes (free) - before I did much of anything.

Then I might review to prepare: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000834.htm
