i have 2 computers networked together everything runs fine they share internet and files, but i have a anoying problem, this is that when either computer is using bandwidth it uses as much as it can get. causing lag on the other pc, vice versa. does anyone know a way that i can equally split my bandwidth limit 50/50. or does anyone know of a program that can be used to do this? grimesy

If they are on ICS where only one computer has the direct connection to the internet, that would be the case.
Install a router, and your problems will be gone.

Just to add to the last post... I have installed a wireless router (D-Link DSL604T) and it works brilliantly. Provides networking and internet sharing and no probs.

thank you

thanks guys i will look up on these possible methods, and i will post back with my progress, regards. grimesy
