network not sharing right

ok heres my situation, there is a main desktop pc with a printer and internet/router connected directly to it and there is also another desktop and a laptop. the main pc can access internet print and access shared files from the other desktop but not the laptop. The secondary desktop can access internet, print from the shared printer and shre files FROM that computer to the main one, but not access files on the laptop or the main desktop. The laptop can access internet, but no printer or file sharing at all. So id like to get all the sharing up and running.

all systems must be in the same WORKGROUP name.
XP likes XPHOME and the others like WORKGROUP.

do you SEE all system names when opening

all xp pro ??
all need sharing permissions and security settings the same
under the shares tab advanced add NETWORK same for security
do on all machines reboot or log off then in
all same workgroup makes it easyer
if any are xp home the home machine must be logged with same user name and password of xp pro machine
