    Hi

I Recently re-formated my computer and re-installed Windows XP home edition (i am not sure if its 64 or 32bit i am afraid). once i had it all up and running and reinstalled all appropriate Motherboard and video drivers i tried to set up a network connection to get the computer back onto the net to do all automatic updates. after finishing the wizard the connection did not show up so i tried again and still nothing, i restarted to see if the connection would show up on start up but it didnt. ive gotten all appropriate drivers and still nothing works. has anyone else seen this problem or can help with it? the help would be appreciated.

    Computer:
    AMD Athlon(tm) 64x2 Dual
    Core Processor 4200+
2.21 GHz 3.50 GB of RAM

use the Device Manager to view the drivers. are there any red/yellow flags?
