I have been storing my mp3s on my (larger) slave drive on the desktop, but would like to be able to access them from my laptop. Currently, I can access shared folders on my C drive, but no shared folders/files on my E drive. Any ideas about what I can tinker with to fix this problem?

    thanks

on the desktop computer, share the desired drive. then you can use the networked laptop to map said drive. you need the desktop's name to manually enter the network path, or you could browse for it.
