Hi,
I just got a new Asus Transformer Laptop (Windows 8.1) and am having trouble with it even locating my wifi.
I can see other's that are in my area but not mine. My partner's Asus laptop can find it fine with no issues. There is no Ethernet cable point on the laptop either to try that. I have reset the computer, turned wifi on/off, restored that modem (netgear) back to factory settings to no avail. I am currently using my mobile phone as a personal hotspot and that recognised it quickly. I don't know why my laptop would need to do any updates given that I got it yesterday but it that a possibility??
I am not computer savvy in ANY way to please use simple terms.
It's so upsetting getting a new laptop and not being able to use it.
