New board will not boot to bios??

I have just purchased a ECS 848P-A7 and P4 630 Processor and a gig stick of PC3200 memory. I have installed all of the units twice cannot get the computer to boot. It will not even boot to the bios. The power light on the motherboard comes on and all fans, heatsink, etc. seem to be working but nothing on the monitor. My video card is a leadteck A340 8x AGP. Any suggestions?

I had a look for the 'no P.O.S.T. guide in the guides forum' and couldn't find it.

I think the problem might be that there is a heading 'Guides' at the top of the forum page and that 'guide' isn't isn't in that place.

A bit confusing dontcha know!
