    Here's what I've got:

    Motherboard:
    Biostar NF325-AZ (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813138247)

Memory: Kingston 1GB DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820141307)

    CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 2.0GHz (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103605)

    CPU Cooler: Thermaltake (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835106608)

Video Card: Amigo NV--AGA-9051w RADEON 9550, (128 MB) AGP Graphic Card

Drives: DVD-RW, DVD, and a 40GB Maxtor Hard Drive from my old computer.

    Now here's my problem:
I put everything together, and everything seems to be connected properly. When I connect the power and try to start my computer up, the fans spin for about half a second and then everything turns off.
I have tried turning the front panel connectors around but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas on what the problem could be???

Does the lights on the front panel of the case come on correctly for HD and Power?

Check all power connectors inside the case also to MOBO. One mistake can lead to problems. Also did the case come with PSU?

That Maxtor 40GB from your old PC, did you select Primary Master?
  8. whitebear654 Newcomer, in training

Yes, it is selected as primary

I have checked over all power connectors multiple times and tried different things. The lights do come on.

The case came with a power supply.

I read the NO POST guide and tried the things in there, still nothing. Every time I press the power button only the fans turn on for half a second.
