a bit late, but i didn't see anyone talking about this...

New Command & Conquer Game

March 08, 2002 - The Europeans have broken another one wide open, this time for Westwood Studios' premiere franchise. CVG (Computer and Videogames) is reporting the announcement of a new Command & Conquer game, titled C&C Generals. The new title will be the first Command & Conquer strategy game to be rendered in 3D. CVG's story suggests that the title will feature a brand new storyline and they go on to speculate that the title will also be the first C&C strategy game to come to the Xbox. These last two details are unconfirmed.

Interesting. I'm waiting to see how much more detailed the characters are in the 3D version. Hope it'll be better than C&C Renegade!
