New computer...can't get it to boot.

I just purchased a ASUS P5W DH DELUXE mobo and a Core 2 Duo E640, and I get nothing on my screen when i try to boot. Everything gets power but, nothing happens. I reset the CPU and heatsink, and still nothing. I tried clearing the CMOS, too. Do I have a dead mobo? This is really frustrating O_O
