Hello all, this is my first time posting here but from what i gather on reading other posts everyone seems really helpful. i must admit i'm not very good with setting up computers or anything of that sort, but i wanted a killer rig, so i purchased this one below here is the link to the actual computer for more information. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...s.asp?EdpNo=3189409&Sku=V133-8888#detailspecs
Basically what happens is it shuts down at a random time whenever i play games (wow, ghost recon, counterstrike).
it makes a funny little click noise like a circut breaker is being fliped BUT everything else that i have plugged in stays running. (monitor, modem.)
at first it was a few minutes into wow it would shut down. i did play ghost recon for awhile though and it didn't seem to do this. however
i removed the side pannel and put a fan next to it incase of a heat problem. i also bought a battery backup/surge protector and that seemed to prolong the life to about 10 -30 mins thats when i noticed it happening for the other games as well. this is a really new rig (3 days) and i still have a 30 day return warrenty on it. is there some way i can fix it without returning it?
