The wifey's machine just started misbehavin' and I got this new process CC4.tmp3072.exe trying to connect up to our fabulous Digital Infinity friends in Moscow via

208.66.195.14ort2506

(Don't worry, the hard firewall blocked it.)

I gotta be up and out early, so the picking-it-apart time is limited.

Anybody know what it is?

boot in safe mode.
turn off system restore

run your anti-virus with updates
run your trojan horse programs (spybot, ewido, and adware)

report back if not removed.
if removed, turn system restore back on and boot normally.

I can find no info for CC4.tmp3072.exe. This probably means it`s nasty.

The chances are you`ve probably got some virus/spyware on your system.

Go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.

Post a fresh HJT log into this thread, only after doing the above.
