I just installed a new Lanparty nF4 sli-d motherboard, amd64 3200, new 550w psu, and am trying to reinstall windows xp on the hd. Its booting from the CD but when it gets to the part where it says waiting to instal windows or w/e, it goes to a blue screen that says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_DISK with a bunch of other jargon. Anyone have this problem and know the solution?

How many HDD do you have? If you have more than one, make sure that the one you are installing windows on is the MASTER disc and the other one(s) are SLAVE discs. You'll have to add/remove jumpers to make one the MASTER disc.

Thats about all I can help you with. I hope it helps.

Is it a SATA hard drive? If so you need to press F6 at the beginning of XP setup (read the far bottom). The driver will need to be on a floppy disk.
Otherwise you may have a connection problem or an HDD problem.
