ok this is my first laptop and i have cable internet. now i cant get the computer to connect to the internet. its an older one. a IBM t23 thinkpad. when i tried to set up new connection i would get the DHCP server not responding when trying to get an ip address. no idea what that means. it has window 2000 pro on it which im not familiar with since this computer has XP on it. any help would be much appreciated thanks
