I am having trouble with my 2nd PC I am building. I built my 1st 2 years back and have never had a problem. This second one is KILLING me. I have the following specs:
Antec Triple Power 550w PS
Intel Core 2 Duo Wolfdale E7300 2.66
4 gb Kingston DDR2 800 (2gb x 2)
ECS G33T-M2
Saphirre ATI 4850
400 gb SATA Drive
20 x 20 DVD RW SATA
Well when I 1st built the system I had a FOXCONN G9657MA MB. After putting it all together I got no video or post. Just dead. DOA I assumed after reading its reviews on newegg. So I bought the ECS.
Everything come on now. Video starts up.....but comouter doesnt stay on. Will power cycle a couple times before it actually boots up. It also beeps twice. Start of post and before loading windows. ECS said two different things. 1st guy said it was a memory problem. 2nd guy said it was normal. IF is does come all the way on everything works fine. Vista installed and shows all the information about my computer correctly. All except the audio. I plug in my speakers an get NO sounds. Is it possible I got two bad MB? I haven't installed the graphics card and swaped Power supplies so that cant be it. Please any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks
