New Pc Wont Boot Please Help

  1. I ordered a new pc last week and when i built it together everything plugged in and seemed ok but when u plug the atx12v power (the one with 4 holes) my computer turns on for 2-3 seconds then shuts off but when i unplugg the atx12v power my computer runs but no bios or lights show up on the mobo or screen.

    I'm a little confused with your specs. You have an amd cpu and and LGA 775 board. That Msi board you have listed is for intel cpus. Maybe you have a MSI K9N SLI Platinum or K9A Platinum?

    You have the wrong CPU for the board. Either change the CPU or change the mobo.
