    I Buy a new 1 GB RAM PC 2700 DDR 333 MHZ for my DEll OPtiplex 170L. After inserting i only get no long beep and no display. Can anyone assist what is the technical problem

    Is it the proper type of ram for your station? Can the ports only handle up to 512 MB per bank?

    Right type ?

    Do you have a Motherboard manual to name ram types,slot size etc. ?
    If not get that info from the Website.You have to know what to use and
    what size for your board slots.
    You might damage things if you don't.:knock:
