New XP install on a separate partition - how to make it recognize existing programs?

I've always used Windows 2000 but I recently installed Windows XP Home on its own partition (D). I was wondering, how do I get it to recognize all of my existing programs, which are on a third partition (E)? I don't want to have to reinstall every single program. Thanks.

You will have to reinstall every single program. You can do it on top of the existing ones if you don't want to have double installations.

In theory you could export the correct registry entries from 2k and then import them to XP.. But then you'd have to know the correct ones
