iphone rumor display multitouch screen touchscreen force touch

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Apple's next-generation iPhone will feature a pressure sensitive touchscreen that borrows technology from the company's recently upgraded MacBook line.

Named Force Touch, the pressure-sensing technology is used in the new MacBook and updated MacBook Pros to simulate standard mouse clicks. On top of this, in certain applications you can press buttons with different levels of force to achieve different results, such as pressing harder on a fast forward button to fast forward faster.

The Apple Watch also integrates Force Touch into its touchscreen, which gives the small display a greater range of inputs. It's expected that Apple will bring the very same Force Touch touchscreen technology to the new iPhones, complete with a range of applications that will have pressure sensitive controls.

The Wall Street Journal expects the next-generation iPhones to come in bodies similar to the current models, with the same 4.7- and 5.5-inch screen sizes. The only new design element we may see is a pink model, which will accompany the standard silver, space grey and gold models currently on sale.

Apple typically announces their new iPhones in the third quarter of the year, so there's still plenty of time before we see what Apple has in store for their next-gen smartphones.

More cracked screens coming, when people try and see how hard they can push their screens.
Yes, a lot of people are that stupid.

This is so they can alert iPhone 6SS(ensitive) users to when they have sat with their phone in their back pocket of their jeans and it's starting to bend.
