Hi guyz .i'm hoping to get my problem sovled hear.
ok.when i install "Need for speed underground 2 Demo" .and launch the game it gives me a "c0000005" error......

So i thought it was just the demo being half broken.....so i got the full game.
but it gives the exact same error...........

so i formatted my pc.just to get a fresh start again......and i installed directX 9.0c , and it still gives the same error.

my pc specs are:
windows XP
1000mhz
64mb graphic card
256mb ram

any suggestions are welcome thnx
Bruce.

Check the specs on the back of the game does your machine support them?

CPU seems a little slow for that sort of game as it is does involve very high graphics!

What graphics card is it? On Board?

If its onboard it may be using system memory your 256mb, to run the graphics card.

well the game requires ...930mhz
and my dispay card is not onboard.i cant remember the brand name,

i tried the game on my mates pc.and it works on his.his pc is even slower than mine.he has 900mhz.........256ram.same display card.

try updating you MB drivers the video drivers
chk irq settings get the video away from sharing if you can
some agp share the first pci slot if you have a nic in that it can cause irg sharing conflicts with games running
also might try increasing your VM
should be about 350MB

ok i got it working !! thnx guyz !!!
But now..........it's running abit slow.....
for sum funny reason the game detecs my display card as 16mb's
and i also bought another 128mbram this morning.but it doesn't detect it.....when i have my 256ram in aswell...wat can i do to make them both work .oh yea.and the 256 is "drr" and the 128 is "sdram"

any help will be great !

thnx Bruce

Well theres your problem you just said it yourself!

DDR RAM 256MB? SDRAM 128MB?

I assume that the 256 was in it orignally?

They can not work togeather you need to buy DDR ram to go with the 256 DDR RAM.

YOu preferabbly need to buy the same make of ram you currently have in your machine.

Or you could just buy a stick of 512mb DDR ram ?
