I use NIS and NAV 2005 for quite some time (December 2004), and did not any problems with them. I do not know why but during the last month i started to have lots of problems, and the most exquisit is that i did not installed anything else or made massive changes on the computer.
First NIS block my Outlook and does not allow to send or see the e-mail. I made experiences using other e-mail managers as Eudora but the same happens. I get an error as the following:
A time-out occurred while communicating with the server. Account: 'pop.netcabo.pt', Server: 'pop.netcabo.pt', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC19
Next i started to get problems with my Lexmark printer. Whenever NIS2005 is activated and i switch on the printer a message "Microsoft Printer Spooler Service is attempting to access the Internet", and it does not print. Normally after this happens, Adobe Acrobat is not able to be used.
Anybody has some suggestions to solve these problems?
