No Audio on DVD playback

I just upgraded to windvd7 and uninstalled windvd6. I go to play a video on my hard drive and no audio in Windvd or WMP. Did I possibly uninstall the codecs for audio on dvd playback, or could it be something else. WMA, and mp3 audio files play just fine.

Yea, that happened to me a little ago after I installed something new, drivers maybe, can't remember. Anywho, I installed the AC3 Filter Codec. Hope it helps!

The AC filter worked for me

Worked for me like a charm. I had to restarted my DVD Player [Windows Media Player], but when I restarted I had sound!
